It all began one rainy, cold March evening. A bustling dinner party brought friends together, and as the evening progressed and more wine was poured, glasses were shuffled and confusion ensued.

"No, that's not your wine glass. I'm wearing pink lipstick and you're wearing red...look at the color on the rim!"

Super-sleuth detective work was required to keep our glasses straight. It was then that we thought there must be a fun and playful, yet classy way to label them. Somewhere in between Emily Post's Perfectly Polite Place cards and Magic Marker on Red plastic Solo cups. Why not etch witty words or phrases on sets of beautiful crystal? Upscale dining with just a little bit of kitsch.

Of course, from there the idea blossomed-wine glasses were just the beginning. How about beer mugs? Coffee mugs? Children's milk and juice glasses? And better yet-we realized we could customize glasses based on personal interests and activities: golf, tennis,... the list is endless. The most beautiful element through it all (aside from bringing together party guests in new and interesting ways) was the environmentally conscious bonus that resulted from ousting paper and plastic cups.

That's right, we're even saving the earth...one glass at a time.
